What a lovely spot for a chilly day. The views of the lakes are beautiful. We watched the ducks while having a lovely breakfast and coffee. Food was good. A bit busy being Easter break but really enjoyed the outting.

Been here for breakfast twice now. It's one of the nicest I've had. Staff friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It gets busy but went early enough so there were plenty of tables available. Small carpark which does get used by the fishermen too, so it soon gets full. A lovely little walk around the lake.

After arriving in the UK we didn't have breakfast on the ferry and this was our first stop. We'd never expected to find such a hidden gem. It seems to be known only by locals. It was pleasantly busy, the staff was nice and helpfull, the food was good and very affordable. The most expensive food on the menu is a complete English breakfast for only 10.89. The location is marvellous! The small restaurant is located in a park with several fishing ponds, a great place to stretch our legs and enjoy the view.

Lovely place. Serves a good variety of food, not a typical greasy spoon. Food decent price. Nice to have a walk around the lake. Friendly service and very fast.

Called in for lunch on our journey to Pickering, the food was excellent, coffee superb, and service exemplary, my wife had mushroom omelette I had the lasagne, very highly recommended, then a pleasant walk round the ponds and saw wild orchids growing.
